Job Description

Project Controller will be responsible for planning and scheduling Environmental Management (EM) programs at Department of Energy (DOE) site for environmental assessments, remediation and D&D activities.  Prefer project experience with DOE Environmental Management projects.  Responsible for implementing management systems, perform analyses, and reporting on project performance; maintains a variety of databases, reports, records, schedules etc.  Develop, track, and report on project performance measures.  Must have knowledge and experience of earned values management system.

Job Requirements

To qualify for this position, candidate must meet the following requirements:

• High school Diploma required B.S. Degree in Business or other related field preferred.
•  Must have 15 years of project controls experience for commercial or government project management with successfully managing multiple project budgets ranging from $50K up to $25M.
• Experience including cost estimating, earned value management, scheduling, and government accounting system experience.
• Earned Value Management System(EVMS) experience
• Cost Variance experience
• Familiarity of P6
• Must have experience with MS Excel, Access, and Word.
• It is a plus if candidate has Department of Energy project experience.
• Per government contracts candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Requires excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to work in groups and lead group projects

This position may require the ability to obtain a government clearance. This position may require reviews and test for absence of any illegal drugs along with a background investigation by the Federal government in order to obtain an access authorization prior to employment, and may require subsequent reinvestigations may be required.
