 Job Description

Supervises and/or directs technical and project efforts (including schedule, budget, etc.) which may include direction/interaction with non-Pro2Serve employees.

Develops and coordinates schedules, budgets, subcontractors, etc. as needed. 

Manage cost engineering and estimating related activities to include planning estimates, parametric estimates, and detail estimates; reviewing cost portions of DD1391 documents; development of schedules and project controls documentation. 

Review all cost estimates, schedule changes, etc.

Prepares and coordinates reports, studies, calculations, etc. as required.

May lead conferences/meetings with client to establish project objectives and resolve all levels of design problems.

Directs work efforts of project personnel.

Demonstrates ability to get along with coworkers, customers and visitors.

Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.


Job Requirements

  • Requires Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Finance and typically requires 10-15 years of previous experience. 
  • AACE Certification required
  • Certifications in any and all of the following; Certified Cost Professional (CCP), Certified Estimating Professional (CEP), Earned Value Professional (EVP), Planning & Scheduling Professional (PSP), Certified Forensic Claims Consultant (CFCC) Decision and Risk Professional (DRMP) required.
  • Have a working knowledge of industry accepted automated cost estimating systems (MCACES Second Generation [MII], WinEst, Success, Timberline, etc.).
  • Experience with Primavera P6 software
  • Experience in nuclear, government, commercial, industrial, construction or process arenas performing cost estimating/engineering, developing all estimate types
  • Ability to communicate effectively with client and team members.
  • Organize and manage project teams to deliver and exceed customer expectations, develop and maintain strong customer relationships required. 
  • Previous experience working with Department of Defense (DOD) and/or the Department of Energy (DOE) projects or programs.
  • Able to write routine and non-routine reports and correspondence. 
  • Able to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.


Desired experience

Experience working with United States Army Corps of Engineers strongly preferred

Project Management Professional certification-PMP

Advanced Degree MS, MA, MBA highly desirable
