Job Description:

Performs desktop or on-site TEMPEST or Protected Distribution Systems (PDS) evaluations of or at NNSA facilities according to applicable DOE and National policies. Provides CTTA’s with recommendations for TEMPEST countermeasure requirements. Drafts formal memoranda or threat assessment documents based on TEMPEST Countermeasures Reviews (TCR) or PDS technical evaluations. Develops and deliver training on NNSA TEMPEST processes, policies and procedures to NNSA Field sites. Conducts outreach to NNSA field sites on TEMPEST processes, policies and procedures Drafts, reviews, and edits NNSA TEMPEST policies and procedures. Assists with instrumented TEMPEST Testing.


Job Requirements:

3 years of relevant experience, relevant experience must be in signals analysis, physical security, TEMPEST, electrical/electronics, technical surveillance countermeasures, telecommunications, wireless security, cybersecurity, or information assurance.

Graduate of the National TEMPEST School TEMPEST Fundamentals Course and TEMPEST Facility Installation and System Design Course

Ability to obtain DOE 'Q' and current SCI Eligibility

Federal Government Clearance:


This position requires the ability to obtain a government clearance. This position requires testing for absence of any illegal drugs along with a background investigation by the Federal government to obtain access authorization prior to employment. Subsequent reinvestigations and drug testing may be required.
