Job Description

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Scientific or Engineering discipline from an accredited college or university

  • Ten years’ direct experience in nuclear safety analysis

  • Knowledge of fundamental nuclear, mechanical, electrical theory and engineering principles

  • Knowledge of nuclear regulations and regulatory processes

  • Experience performing hazard analysis, accident, analysis, or development of nuclear safety documents under 10 CFR 830

  • Ability to define problems, collects information, evaluate data, draw valid conclusions, and develop solutions in a time-critical environment

  • Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office Suite

  • Effective oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment

  • Exhibit a high degree of professionalism in the production of deliverables and in interactions with fellow employees and client personnel.

Preferred Qualifications

  •  DOE experience
  • NRC experience

  • Nuclear facility experience

  • D&D, D&R, S&M project experience

Direct Hire

 Federal Government Clearance:

This position may require the ability to obtain a government clearance. This position may require reviews and test for absence of any illegal drugs along with a background investigation by the Federal government in order to obtain an access authorization prior to employment, and may require subsequent reinvestigations may be required.
